  1. Salut, j'ai lue tes posts et je suis curieuse de savoir si tu es finalement rentrer en médecine à McGill ou pas!

  2. Rip moi... je rentre à JAC cette automne :') Aurais-tu des conseils pour la transition? (You can PM me if you'd like, I don't mean to steal the writer's post) Ou qu'est-ce que tu aurais fait différemment afin de diminuer l'impact?
  3. Hi, I suggest you talk with your counselor at your school about the factors you'd like to take into consideration. My counselor personally advised me to think about the cegep in which you'll be the most motivated to study in. You're going to have the opportunity to attend to open houses and even classes (student for a day) so it should give you a good idea of the environments you'd feel comfortable in. Also, don't worry too much about seeing the same faces over again in Vanier. A lot of people from my HS wanted to go to JAC. Some didn't get accepted after 2 rounds. Many are in different programs. The people who are in Science program (20+) barely have a single mutual teacher. Very different schedules and breaks. Also, people who applied because they didn't care about being surrounded by the same classmates forever are usually very friendly students in my school that I personally wouldn't mind seeing for two more years. So there's that. It's a salty schoolmate filter. I come from a french HS but I still applied to an English college just because I feel a lot more comfortable expressing myself orally in English. And yes, go to the nearest cegep.
Merci beaucoup Marble
  5. I'm applying in 1 year and half though, that's soon enough for me. Maybe it's at a different time outside of Quebec province. And no need to worry about my youth, it's kind of you I still play video games and cuddle with my love.
  6. The chart of this post mentions that it's important to be highly distinguished in an activity that you like.. (ex: to not just play often piano but receive awards or be concert pianist) I don't know how to make me so in visual arts. It's hard to search up online local competitions because most of them exclude my age range .(16) I'm reputed in my HS as a talented artist, but I never had any art classes outside of school range (meaning a high probability of little to no technique) , which also means that even if I were able to join competitions, I don't think it'd be easy for me to win them. I did make a deviant art account not so long ago, and I have 238 watchers which is a bit decent for someone who posts only once in a while and who doesn't draw fanarts. Is opening up commission good enough ? (work exp: selling art requests or prints?) tldr; how to turn visual art hobby into cv worthy pls (highly distinguished person in an activity) should i make a post for this
