MacJK
Hi, I'm a Canadian looking to apply for optometry in the U.S. However, the tuition itself is already ~35k/ yr for non-residents. I come from a low income family so there isn't any money saved up. If anyone is/ was in a similar situation, how did you manage to fund for it? Cerebrate
I am researching this as we speak: You can apply for OSAP if you're Ontarian, I've never done this myself, but it's possible (http://www.ontario.ca/education-and-training/can-i-get-osap-if-im-going-school-us-or-overseas) You can see if the school is approved for OSAP here: https://osap.gov.on.ca/SchoolSearchWeb/search/school_search.xhtml One of my choices is UC Berkeley. Edit: Wow, no wonder I did bad on verbal... About the "funding it" part, I'm not sure what the job market is like in the US. I would like to know this as well.
