PA00 I did receive an invite on Monday morning! I believe they send out ~80? That's what it's been around years past from what I can tell by previous threads. Good luck to all!!

Unless McMaster has changed their process, you don't get a firm rejection at all. To those that didn't get the first round of invites you still might get one right up till the day or 2 before the interviews.

I kind of wish they sent out rejections . . . if I have no chance this application cycle I would love to know.

Congratulations everyone who has already received an invitation to interview!! Best of luck to those who are still waiting.  :)

Yes NonTradHopeful rejections would be polite for those who are anxious. There's no way they can have all 800+ people who did not get the invite on the waitlist... It would definitely be nice to even let people know if they are on the waitlist!

Hey everyone!  I received an email today notifying me that I've been waitlisted for an interview.  I'm not sure what kind of movement the interview waitlist gets, but I'm really happy to now know the status of my application.  Congratulations to those who received invites!

I received one as well! Does anyone know how many spots are on the waitlist?? (Hopefully not many haha). I heard someone got an invite the day before the interview last year! So there's definitely movement of some sort.

I'm glad to hear that, PAalltheway! I'm curious to know how many spots are on the wait list, too. That's good to hear there's usually some movement! My fingers are crossed for us. :)

I found the MMI surprisingly fun and left feeling pretty good. I feel like I accurately presented who I am and my personality. I thought I would be more nervous and the that the interviewers wouldn't be friendly but I found the experience very positive. This was my first MMI, it was definitely exciting being walked to the interview rooms which ended up being exam rooms. It's just hard now not to worry while waiting to hear back...

Hey guys,

I am sorry if my question is off-topic but do you know how the pass/fail system affects the possibility for post-graduate applications?

Thank you so much for your help!

I don't know specifics, but I know a McMaster PA who wants to do a MBA but is finding it challenging because all of the schools they would want to go to looks at GPA in the applications. It depends on the school, but seems like most schools will calculate your GPA using graded courses only. Pass/fail courses are only used to meet specific course requirements.

Yea like I was wondering, for example, if I am applying to a masters degree and I use both my PA degree and my undergrad, would they be upset that my PA degree has no GPA?
