Mithril
I was just looking through my CRA online account and realised that I was never given any tuition tax credits for the years 2013 and 2014 (when I was in 3rd and 4th year med). In 3rd and 4th year med I was paid $200-300/month by the faculty as a stipend. I claimed my tuition for those two years but noticed just this month, after realising I don't have enough tuition tax credits to offset income tax this year, that my tuition claimed for those years were reassessed to $0. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it possible to still reclaim that tuition? I don't understand why the CRA would reassess that $32,000 worth of tuition as $0. Edit: resolved it. Apparently the CRA had sent me letters according to their agent, I never received them, they never got proof, and reassessed those years' tuition as $0. It's in the process of being fixed.
