snazij
Hey! Anglophone here who got accepted into the French stream. I am deciding between schools and I was wondering if it is possible to write the exams in either language?
m_jacob_45
Yes it is (at least for my year). You can choose to write the exams in either language regardless of stream.
EthicsForBreakfast
That's really interesting to know. Currently I'm trying to decide which is harder... studying for the MCAT or brushing up on my French enough to be successful at the interview and CASPer lol. I wouldn't mind doing med in French at all considering I went to school in French for 12 years.
NBgeegee17
Clarification: You can write the written exams in English, but the OSCE(practical exam with standardized patients) exams are done in French. This means that you will need to know how to communicate in French with the patients and complete the timed exam in 7 minutes. Your clerkship is also done in a Francophone hospital (Montfort).
