honey97
Hi guys, I was wondering if you could help me convert my GPA from my best 2 years at McMaster to a percentage for UWO dental? I have a 3.88 in my third year and 3.94 in my fourth year. I know there is a conversion chart on their website but it doesn't let me convert my average. thank you so much in advance! Ms. Chip Skylark
Does McMaster not give percentage marks on the transcript? If they do, it's just an average of those.
OmSriSaiRam
@honey97 - use the letter grade on your Mac transcript to find the mid-%age for the corresponding Western range. For example, an A+ would be 95% (halfway between 90 and 100). For a letter grade of A, I used 87% (halfway between 85 and 89). Hopefully that helps. I referred to the OMSAS table - https://www.ouac.on.ca/guide/omsas-conversion-table/. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Shouldn't there be a scale for dental schools or do they follow the same one?
OmSriSaiRam
I found that link on Western’s DDS Admission Requirements page under Grade Conversion - https://www.schulich.uwo.ca/med_dent_admissions/dentistry/admission_requirements.html
