JustTrynaGetMyMD
Hey, For Dalhousie essays, is it only the two questions below or will there be other essay questions after you submit your application? The two questions I see on their website are: 1) In 1000-1500 words (maximum), please write a reflective essay that describes how your experiences have informed your decision to study medicine and shaped your motivation to become a physician. Please describe your personal qualities and skills that you think are applicable to the study and practice of medicine and how your life experiences have helped you to develop them. The Admissions Committee is interested in your community connections, relationships, experiences in group settings as well as hearing about challenges, including strengths and weaknesses, adversities and achievements. 2) In 250 words or less, please describe your knowledge of, any connections to and past experiences with the Maritime Provinces and how these have contributed to your selection of Dalhousie University as your preferred choice of medical schools. Please note this is a mandatory step and must be completed to submit your supplemental and essay. Finally, can you please share some tips for good essays? Are they looking for particular things? Thanks for your help!
Anaik
Only the two questions there, no additional essays. they do have the option for explanatory essays if you leave a section blank (ECs, volunteer, employment, or awards) but if you have entries there you won’t be prompted for them. The 250 word essay is only if you’re OOP. JustTrynaGetMyMD
