DrNietzsche
I am looking for some good high yield information textbooks. I am not looking for rapid review necessarily, but textbooks that are not full of unnecessary info. Anyone have any suggestions in the following topics: -Physiology -biochemistry -anatomy -pharmacology -pathophysiology Thanks in advance all! shikimate
My take is that all you need is Netter anatomy and that's it. Honestly rest of the stuff is freely available online and Youtube, and often more concise, relevant, easier to understand, relatable to exams/LMCC/USMLE than textbooks. Also try UpToDate, it's a great website. Some people like MedScape. If you really want a good concise summary, get First Aid for Step 1 of USMLE. It's the most high yield fact book. Birdy
You'll get access to a ton of textbooks online through your CMA membership as well. I would highly recommend the Hurley OSCE book, though. I personally like having that one as a physical book.
