AlynHoffman
I just wrote my MCAT today and I don't think it went all that well :/ I read on most of the forums that U of T considers the MCAT only as a cutoff (like a flag system) which I think I met, but I was wondering whether this might be something U of T considers it competitively as well in the application (just like how there's a gpa cutoff, but they also probably consider it competitively as well)
Eudaimonia
The Gpa assessment is ambiguous, but rest assured that they are clear MCAT is solely a cutoff. Hope it works out better than you thought!
ToughLuck
I got in with an MCAT of 504, where the cutoff is 500. So I think it is purely a pass/fail thing.
AlynHoffman
Thanks for the replies :) I sure hope so, it's just that I couldn't find any other information on the U of T website and I'm super paranoid haha especially when the cutoff seems quite low? CantConcentrate
They explicitly state in their end of year summary videos that MCAT is assessed via a cutoff, and GPA is assessed competitively.
