Guest 2l2l
Can any current UofS students comment on the success of graduates in the residency match compared to other schools? Do you think you have any competitive disadvantage/advantage in the match by virtue of the school you attend? Thanks.
Guest kosmo14
This year we matched extremely well as we do every year. There was only 1 unmatched person less than any other school. We had matches in ENT, Urology, Optho., lots of Anasthesia, radiology, etc... One strength of our school is that we are known for our extremely strong/competant clerks. Guest physiology
Hey Kosmo14, What is the reason for your strength of your clerkship program? I'm jealous here in BC
Guest justanotherpremed
I think it's been posted recently on this board... and I've heard this from others... that UofS clerks get a great deal of responsibility... that would explain the possibility that UofS clerks are known as competent, experienced, etc. :hat :smokin
Guest 2l2l
One strength of our school is that we are known for our extremely strong/competant clerks. Known by whom? Maybe some people from outside U of S can weigh in whether they have heard the same?
Guest Ian Wong
I've heard that from multiple residents/staff at UBC, U of A, and U of C, for what it's worth. Ian
