Guest AKangaroo
Sorry, I broke into medical students' board... I have a quick question. I am a high school student struggling to decide whether to go to UofT or Western. I am very worried that if I go to UofT then, I will get a bad mark as others said UofT life science does give low mark to students. Then, I heard Western gives out relatively high marks to students so it is better to preapre in Western than UofT. I dont really care where I should live or I should leave toronto (my home) if I could get a good mark. Is it true that UofT is really hard (harder than Western)? Do actual studying materials differ a lot? or is it professors? What schools are you (successful medical students) from? Thank yo very much
Guest Ollie
This question has been asked about a million times, but I'll give you a break since you're new. The answer will always be the same. No undergrad university is better/easier/preferred by adcoms. People get into med school from (probably) every university in Canada. Our class has students from UVic, Memorial, and almost everywhere in between. It's all about YOU. Where will you be happy? What program will you enjoy most? Will you be motivated to work hard? You can get good grades at any school. The variable is YOU.
