Guest acropolistica
I guess the title is self explainatory. But to elaborate: what happens on interview day? All I got is a time to get there, and upon arrival my interview time will be revealed. What happens in between this and the interview? Additionally, what is the format of U of T interviews? If possible, could any people who have had interviews at U of T elaborate on their experiences, and what they "came away with" after the interview? My thanks to all who reply. Guest UTMed07
Hi acropolistica: Interviews... I have a bit about it in the FAQ -- question #14. Here is a thread from earlier this month... pub125.ezboard.com/fpremed101frm6.showMessage?topicID=595.topic Here are a few other threads from the archives: Interview details: pub125.ezboard.com/fpremed101frm39.showMessage?topicID=168.topic interview day schedule: pub125.ezboard.com/fpremed101frm39.showMessage?topicID=217.topic ----- In the past (pre-SARS)... - you got a little talk from the admissions people (Leslie Taylor) - tour by a (medical student) guide (that doesn't evaluate you in any way) - then you had the interview, and (finally) - lunch. What you come away from with after the interview depends on what you make of it and who interviews you. Generally interviews are friendly and the people interviewing you just want to get to know you. Aside from knowing yourself... you should know a bit about the school and why you want to come here.
