Guest drcave
Oop! Aack! Gag! Pthbbbt. Anyone else remember good ol' Bill the Cat. I can't help but think of how he died from terminal acne in Bloom County everytime I read OOP. Getting back on topic, I think it is awesome that Calgary posts the exact formula they use to determine if OOP (Aack gag barf) applicants get considered for interviews but does anyone know what the cut-offs were for the last 10 years or better yet what were the means and standard deviations? 8o I just calculated my score and it is higher than last year's cut-off (451.59) but I was hoping to compare it to previous cutoffs so that I can figure out my chances for this year. Algorithm Regression Formula 62.517* (GPA) + 12.122* (MCAT-VR) + 6.757* (MCAT-BS) (in 2005, #125 = 451.59)
Guest Jochi1543
Don't bother, if you are above last years' cut-off, go ahead and apply. Cut-offs are based on who applies in this particular year, so no matter how much you analyze the past, it can't predict what's gonna happen this year.
