International clerkship opportunties?

Can anyone offer any information on the international medicine opportunities offered in the Calgary meds program?

I've heard that there are opportunities for meds students to complete part of their electives in another country.

Hey there

 

Yes you can definitely do elective time in other countries - several of our students have done just that. Asia, South America, Middle East, Europe. You name it. Usually people do this in their 4 week elective at the end of first year/start of second year (June/July after first year), but some have done it for clerkship electives as well.
