Guest Isoceles Posted September 11, 2005 Report Share Posted September 11, 2005 Hi all: So, when I was in to pick up my file review a few days ago, I got a few tidbits of info from Susan. 1) Admissions MAY try out the OOP algorithm on IP applicants this year. They will not use it to determine who gets interviewed... but they may just see what the results of applying it are. Okay, vague, I know, but interesting none the less! I sure hope they use it for something.. it would so work in my favor!! 2) This year UofC will be going to the MMI system for their interviews. Susan said that as of right now, this is the system they have decided to implement to interview applicants this cycle. I was a bit surprised about the interview thing... but apparently they were a bit concerned about the standarization between interviews (and this was justified according to what I have heard from a friend who conducted interviews), and are hoping that MMIs will help.
