Stats of applicants

Is there a post with the stats of ppl that got accepted/waitlisted/rejected at Queen's (like GPA, Mcat score, in or out of province etc.) .. ?

I checked in the main Queen's forum and it wasn't there..

It doesn't really matter what the stats are...GPA and MCATs don't count after you get an interview. You just need to make the cutoff. It varies from year to year depending on the applicant pool, but usually is around the 3.6ish range for GPA and about 30-32 for MCAT, usually at least 9 or 10 in each section. It also doesn't matter what province you're from. There tends to be mostly Ontario students in each class, but that's a reflection of the applicant pool. I think we have about 16 people from BC, and quite a few from other provinces as well.

 

The cutoffs each year aren't set until after all applications are in, so it's best just to send yours in and hope for the best! The interview counts for 50% and your essay/personal information form/references count for the other 50%. Good luck!
