ConfuseDee
Hey guys, I just finished a psychology degree and plan on applying for med schools by the end of this summer. I have a good GPA, and some ECs. However, I am scared to prepare for the MCAT since the last "life science" courses Ive taken were almost 3-4 years ago. Do I have enough time to prepare? (If I do the MCAT by the end of this summer)? Also, which MCAT prep material should I use? any specific companies? websites? please share with me any tips that helped you or youre using Thanks in advance!! needbetterunderstanding
Hi Dee.. Do you think I have a shot at medical school with these grades ? 2012 Fall : 5 Ws dropped out due to personal reasons 2013 - 2014 : 3.3 2014 - 2015 : 3.1 2015 Spring : 2 (2 courses W in 1 and C in another) 2015 - 2016 : 3.3 2016 - 2017 : 2.6 2017 Spring : 3.3 (1 course B+ ) 2018 - Present : I am working as an engineer. I have reference letter from my current employer and would be getting another reference letter from a doctor I have shadowed. Also, I have about a year of research experience in university.
