If I dropped a course and then retook it the following year, is that considered repeating a course? Guest aneliz Posted May 9, 2004 Report Share Posted May 9, 2004 As long as it doesn't appear on your transcript twice, it is not considered to have been repeated. If it is not on your transcript, UWO won't know about it's existence in that year. However, if you dropped it AFTER the drop date and it appears on your transcript as either a withdrawal or failure, it would be a repeated course the next time you took it...meaning that you would need to have extra credit weights that year to 'make up for it' if you want to count that year for GPA purposes.
