Guest Qwigley
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has insight into when students should take the US board exams. I've heard that taking the first part between 2nd/3rd year is good because there is some basic sciences stuff on it which you probably haven't touched since pre-req courses and waiting longer will just make you forget more. However, I've also heard that taking the test between 3rd/4th year may be a good review for your Canadian Board Exams at the end of 4th year. If you post an answer please state your year of graduation so that I'll be able to better judge via what perspective your opinion is derived. Guest TheChosenOneDDS
btwn 2nd and 3rd is optimal. I think we had this conversation already. Graduate in a few days. American dental boards part 1 is very diff from Canadian. And more specific, like for oral anatomy they ask u stuff like how many embrasure spaces in a contact point (4). etc. i know people who have taken it after 3rd year also.
