Guest smooth operater Posted May 25, 2006 Report Share Posted May 25, 2006 Hello guys, As I am practicing carving, I notcie square and triangle notch end are the hardest to carve perfectly, mainly because the edeges would curve down in middle or bulge up on the end. Guest Aplusdent Posted May 25, 2006 Report Share Posted May 25, 2006 Well to get straight surfaces you want to make sure you are approaching the surface with the knife from many angles, not sure one. So carve in one direction, then the opposite, then diagonal and so on..that way you should get a more even plane. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
