Guest sunnysourire
hello, I have signed up for the Feb DAT awhile back and I haven't received any test-related info, i.e. location, time or just general info/card or sth that I would take to the test centre with me. Is this normal or is it too early still? has anyone else received aynthing? Also I was wondering if people think it's better to miss the DAT if one's not feeling confident with the material or to take it again at a later time. Do schools usually care? thanks
Guest Dent08
A lot of people do poorly on their first DAT and then use that as a leaning experience for the next time they write it. Schools usually look at your most recent attempt or take the best sections of all the DATs you have written. Consult the CDA website and each dental school's site for info specific to the schools you are interested in. If it has been a long time since you registered, phone the CDA and tell them your materials have not arrived. They can give you some info on when you can expect it to arrive.
