merci
Hey folks! I’m a nontrad who finally wrote their mcat yesterday… if all goes well I plan to apply to UBC this year and have a couple questions regarding the write ups for NAQ, employment history and the rural application. I already have a career and have a pretty long resume, that also happens to be in the field of forestry… this obviously crosses over with the rural application and many of my leadership and working with others examples also come from work. I am wondering how other non trads have approached these sections of the application? Should I include all my employment history and then pull out my best examples for the NAQ? It’s also my understanding that the rural application is reviewed separate so I can repeat examples used in other sections. Any advice? Or places I should look to for guidance? UBCMD786g
The entries that you put for leadership, service ethics, capacity to work with others, etc should all be volunteer positions. Any employment positions would have to go under the 'Employment' section which is separate from the leadership, service ethics, etc, entries. frenchpress

Follow the explanations in the help guide if you’re unsure. UBC is very clear about what they want you to do and how and where they want you to enter different kinds of experiences - just follow the instructions.
