pizisk
I just saw my ucan scores and it is higher than the lowest preMMI score but I didn't get an interview though. The lowest was in 80s for an Albertan and my interview decision score was in 90s. Did I interpret the ucan scores correctly? Any help in interpreting the score would be amazing
MedFatality
I believe Calgary has an "alternative admission process" where if they deem someone is particularly beneficial to their mission, they can be provided an interview even if their overall score is not at the level for a typical Albertan applicant. The lowest preMMI score could be for someone who qualifies for that alternative admission process. If you check the reference statistics, it states that Albertan interviewees had a score of at least 103.22 (this is different than what is available on UCAN). This is ultimately speculation about the discrepancy that exists.
