I wasn't able to get interviews during this cycle for UofT or Western and I was wondering if I should retake the DAT to improve my scores. Just wanted some thoughts from others! Makarzo Posted March 6, 2023 Report Share Posted March 6, 2023 It was probably your ABS, people around the same GPA,CASPer and DAT got invites to both Western and UofT and some with the same stats even got accepted to UofT during this cycle. I got interview at Western, and you had a better DAT score than me (21 AA 21 RC 19 PAT). So im assuming it's your ABS/PS since your other stats are competitive af. My friend got accepted with similar stats to yours and if anything yours are slightly better. Definitely recommend looking into prep services regarding ABS editing and such for the next cycle. I'll be applying in 4th year and gpa for uoft is 3.93 and for western its 93.55%. Taking the DAT in august and anticipating 20+ in every section based on my diagnostic scores. Haven't done casper yet. In terms of ECs I have 6 publications, a club exec position, some volunteer tutoring, two jobs (research assistant + tutor), coaching experience, mentorship volunteering, and shadowing (150h by the time I apply probably).
