Hello,

I believe that you will receive an application for admission scholarships in your admissions package, which should come in a couple of weeks time.

During the year, applications for other scholarships will be emailed to you.

As for bursaries, quoting from the website.

FACULTY OF MEDICINE STUDENT GRANTS

Students who qualify for government assistance may be eligible for non-repayable grant assistance. During the 2005/2006 academic year, 69.5% of students enrolled in the MD program qualified for this type of assistance. The average grant awarded to first year students was $6029.00.

Ontario residents who receive OSAP funding will automatically be assessed for grant eligibility.

Students receiving assistance from a Province other than Ontario must complete a UTAPS application form in order to be considered for grant funding. Applications forms will be available in the Admissions & Student Finance office during the early fall or you may download the application from the University of Toronto Admissions & Awards web site: www.adm.utoronto.ca

In general, payment of grants to students who are receiving OSAP support will be made in late November or during December. For students receiving assistance from a Province other than Ontario, payments are generally made in January.

There's also the RBC Scholarships for incoming students.

Best of luck!
