Pharmacology Specialist Undergraduate at U of T

Hey,

 

How's the Pharmacology specialist at U of T in terms of difficulty, professors, and personal enjoyment?

 

Is there a lot of memorization for pcl 302/psl 372/pcl 376?

 

I'm choosing between LMP and Pharmacology as my subject post.

Pharmacology specialist is very interesting. The undergrad co-ordinator is extremely helpful and fair. There is a lot of memorization, but its very interesting so its not bad. Systems pharm in 4th year is probably the heaviest course, but it's interesting to learn all the drugs. If you're planning on going to med school, it'll be helpful.

On the other hand, I'm not sure how useful it actually will be while you're in med school. I know a resident who did a masters in pharmacology, but he still struggled when it came to clerkship when you have to write a lot of orders.
