Non-traditional Applicants

Hi everyone!

I'm considering applying to MUN (not in this upcoming cycle but in next year's cycle) and I'd consider myself to be a non-traditional, mature applicant. I was wondering if there were any past applicants with similar backgrounds who might be interested in sharing their experiences via PM. I'm interested in hearing from those who decided to make the leap later in life, after having another career, from backgrounds that aren't necessarily those traditionally thought of as "pre-med" (I come from an arts background) and/or from those who went to med school after having children. If you have any of these experiences or similar I'd be keen to hear from you! Please note that I'd be applying in the IP category.
