Canadian Citizen Residents/PGY’s Getting Back to Canada

Good day all, I am writing to you specifically if you are in your last PGY year of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine in the USA and are considering trying to get back into Canada for practice. I am an IMG that studied in the Caribbean 15 years ago and am a practicing physician and Chief of Staff at the hospital I work in. 

My journey was hard and I want to be supportive of helping Canadians obtain a license to practice in their home country, Canada. Our community, like almost any other is recruiting for physicians and have utilized the special pathways opened up by the CPSO AND the Ministry of Health. We are less than 90 minutes to downtown Toronto on the shores of Southern Georgian Bay, in Midland, Ontario.
