Return of Service-Paid off!!

Does anyone have experience paying off the return of service? Due to a change in circumstances, I am planning on paying it off. Do I have to have a lawyer to do that? Do I need any specific type of lawyer? Thanks.

I know people who have done it. It's a defined amount you have to pay in your contract, so you probably don't need a lawyer unless you want to argue that you shouldn't have to pay or pay less etc.

Thanks for the info. I am planning on taking line of credit to pay them off, some of the money will come from my other savings. Anyone know whether bank will land some more LOC when I am transitioning to practice.

Nobody will be able to answer this question for you as it will depend on the details of your financial situation and options for a professional line of credit, etc.
