Guest misersizer
Is it true that if you qualify for OSAP, U of O will pay for your laptop? And if so, is there something you have to do (other than apply for OSAP) in order to have this done (ex: forms to fill out), or do they just know if you qualify for this? Thanks
Guest satsumargirl
I just met with a financial aid counsellor at U of Ottawa. If you apply and qualify for OSAP then you are automatically given the $3500 bursary from U of O. It is not for your laptop specifically, it's $3500 that will be applied to your account. If you continue to apply to OSAP during 2nd 3rd and 4th year, then you still get a bursary it's for alot less though, I think she said around $800. Still , it's $800 you don't have to pay back! There's nothing you have to fill out, you are automatically considered. She also said that mid-september they will be out to the med school and will go over financial stuff with us.
