The acceptance letter says that classes start on August 29th. Does this mean that orientation week is the week before (ie August 22) or does orientation week start on the 29th? Thanks.

Your first week of school basically consists of "lectures" and workshops that'll orient you to med school here. For example, tons of congrats, give you contact info in case you need help in academics, finances, etc, anti-harrassment workshop, scavenger hunt, blah blah blah. Then at the end of the week, you get your first real lecture on anatomy and then off to the cadavers you go to end the week off.

Hello,

Let's say Anatomy. Which course does it belong to? Foundations of Medicine, or Clinical skills?

Also, say Histology, where does it fall into? How about its lab section?

Based on the schedule of the first year, I am confused how these lab fit into the course schedule?

Thanks a lot.

All this will be explained in orientation, and when you get additional info over the summer.

Anatomy, in first term, is it's own course called FUndamentals of body design. Histo is also it's own course. In term 2, the histo and anatomy go along side the systems blocks.
