Guest mitchie41
If you apply as a third-year applicant to UBC, will they count your third year marks to calculate the pre-req\overall\last 60 average? Or will they just use your first two years? Thanks.
Guest tinee007
UBC will look at your pre-reqs according to what they have listed on the website. As for your overall and last 60 credits, they will take into account your 3rd year. So essentially, your last 60 credits will be your 2nd and 3rd year marks (last 60 credits) and your overall will be all 3 years. Hope that helps! Guest Ollie
Hi, When you submit your application, you do not yet have grades for 3rd year (seeing as how you would currently be in those classes). So, I would think that only 1st and 2nd year could be considered, because that is what's on your transcipt. Anyone else have a thought?
Guest bcdentalgirl
I THINK they might give you a 'conditional' acceptance...that's what they do in the dental school.
Guest canstowski
conditional acceptance? is there such a thing for med school application?
Guest tinee007
Hello, Yes, there is such thing as conditional acceptance. When you receive your acceptance letter they say that your acceptance is conditional upon certain things: For example, if you are applying in your graduating year then your marks cannot drop a certain percentage when they receive your final transcript. Sorry, I can't remember the percentage.
