Does having a bachelor degree give an advantage over students that have only completed 90 credits, when it comes to evaluating admissions? Thanks.

From my experience, YES! As a denied 3rd year applicant then an accepted grad, I feel the degree was the main reason I got in (even though my marks drastically decreased!). However, this trend is often confounded by the fact that people with only 90 credits tend to be first time applicants which also supposedly weakens one's application. In addition, those without a degree tend to be younger and, thus, have had less time to build up their extracurriculars etc. and gain maturity.

Well, someone's a fan of Cowboy Bebop.

Yes, having a degree is better.

Last year, only 4 students were accepted with 90 credits...and every year before that, there's always <10 applicants accepted with 90 credits.

and if you look at UBC Medicine's new entry for the 2003\2004 calendar, it says that having a bachelor's degree is RECOMMENDED.
