Question for those who was interviewed by Dr.Doudet?

Did anyone else found that it was hard to hear what she's saying at times with her accent?

Hi Jazz,

 

To answer your question, when I interviewed with Dr. Doudet last year I didn't have a problem with her accent at all; in fact, I barely noticed it after a wee bit. Then again, I love the French language, relish those inflections that I hear from the few heavily-accented French people with whom I'm in contact with here in Toronto, and have spent a good amount of time in France, practicing the gutterals with the locals.

 

However, if you feel that language was a reasonable impediment during your own interview, you may wish to consider contacting the UBC admissions office to let them know.
