Guest Silver
Does anyone know what the five categories (each scored out of five) that are that are evaluated when UBC assigns a score out of 25 for the non academic evaluation. Also if anyone knows any info as to how each is specifically evaluated would be great! Perhaps Helmet33 or Kirsteen would be able to post their thoughts. Thanx Silver
Guest Kirsteen
Hi Silver, I'm not really sure what all of the official categories are as they were not specifically outlined during my post-application evaluation. A few that were mentioned, however, and that may be among the bunch are "leadership" or "leadership potential", "community service/volunteer work" and "diversity of experiences". As to how each is assessed, sorry, I can't shed any knowledge there, either. I assume that the assessor may read your essay, letters of reference and activity sheets and assign marks to each category based on that reading? Cheers, Kirsteen
