Guest Ian Wong
There's a lot of discussion in BC regarding the inadequate amount of doctors we train relative to our population, and even more discussion about the maldistribution of those physicians. The vast majority of physicians tend to stay in urban areas to practice, leading to chronic and severe shortages throughout rural BC. Here's a CMAJ article discussing the potential development of a Northern BC medical school. www.cma.ca/cmaj/vol-164/issue-7/1032b.asp Ian UBC, Med
