Guest kooty
Hi Everyone, I was going through the registration package and I was wondering whether there is a white coat ceremony...I'm not sure if this is something that all schools do or only some school, especially in the states. Thanks, Kooty
Guest 4EverRose
Hi kooty, Apparently there isn't one at UBC. Please refer to the following discussion from the archived UBC forum: p084.ezboard.com/fpremed101frm41.showMessage?topicID=183.topic Cheers
Guest Ian Wong
The answer is no. I honestly don't think you'll miss it; you'll get enough formal, long-winded praise about your application success during orientation as it is... Ian
Guest kooty
Hey Guys, Thanks. I originally thought there was one for some reason, told my mom and she got all excited. Then I realized that there wasn't one and I told her and she thought I didn't want her to come! So I had to get some proof . I showed her your replies on the forum and now she believes me. Thanks a lot, Kooty
Guest 4EverRose
Hi kooty, Tell your mom don't be disappointed about the absence of a white coat ceremony. The first day of the orientation week will be full of events for family members. Invite her to come and I am sure she will have a great time
