white coat ceremony

Hi Everyone,

I was going through the registration package and I was wondering whether there is a white coat ceremony...I'm not sure if this is something that all schools do or only some school, especially in the states.

The answer is no. I honestly don't think you'll miss it; you'll get enough formal, long-winded praise about your application success during orientation as it is...

Hey Guys,

Thanks. I originally thought there was one for some reason, told my mom and she got all excited. Then I realized that there wasn't one and I told her and she thought I didn't want her to come! So I had to get some proof . I showed her your replies on the forum and now she believes me.

Tell your mom don't be disappointed about the absence of a white coat ceremony. The first day of the orientation week will be full of events for family members. Invite her to come and I am sure she will have a great time
