Guest thuie
Hi, I'm currently finishing my second year and I would like to write the MCAT this summer. However, I have yet to take physiology. Would it be okay to still write the MCAT without taking the course first, or should I take it this summer and write the MCAT the next? Thanks in advance for your help.
Guest UWOMED2005
I didn't take Physiology until I was IN med school. Don't worry about - most of the physiology questions will have all the information to answer them within the question, or rely on first year material. There's a small chance you might find a question or two unanswerable. . . but nothing that should affect your score enough to not hit schools's cutoffs. Guest aneliz
You will be fine without...but make sure you go over some of the most basic stuff in an MCAT review book or something...that said, if you have taken physiology, the BS section becomes a real walk in the park (except for the orgo!).
