UBC Anesthesia Elective?

Hi guys,

 

Id like to set up an Anesthesia Elective in this coming Jan...as Im interested in it as a career, can any of you UBC'ers recommend which site to choose? i.e. which hospital site has the greatest number of people on the selection committee as well as residents? :b Is it VGH or St. Paul's? Which hospitals to med students rotate through for their core rotation?

Hey, I did my elective at VGH and I think that's where most people rotate through. You also can get assigned to UBC Hospital. Overall, it's a pretty good experience. If you want more information, you can PM me and I'll tell you more.
