Please help!! Interview date mix-up

Hi everyone!

I was just looking over my interview letter again, thinking all along my interview was on this coming tuesday, when I realized the date on the letter says "Tuesday, February 18". Tuesday is the 17th. Wednesday is the 18th. The office is now closed for the long weekend. Does anyone have an email address or phone number of someone I could contact for date verification?? I'm feeling quite desperate, and any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

<title>MD (with special training in research) - questions</title>

<pagetext>Hello,

I was wondering if there are any current MD students who went through the the program with "special training in research".

Were the 24 weeks (2 summers?) adequate to become well-immersed in your projects?

Is there an organized summer student research program with supervisors looking for students?

Or how did you distribute the 24 weeks? Some before medical school? (they say 16 weeks can be the summer before starting)

Any time during the school year?

Effects on studying?

Effects on relaxation times?

Thanks!

<title>Privatization in Alberta?</title>

<pagetext>Every now and then I hear some comment about how Alberta has some form of private health care, but I can't really find anything concrete on the subject. Can anyone enlighten me with some details? I've looked over the Mazankowski report, and I see talk about 'blends of private and public care', but nothing specific. I read another document which made it look like the only clinincs that could offer any form of private care in Alberta were those supplying services to groups like WCB or the RCMP. That is the same in BC, so I really don't see why Alberta always seems to be singled out as ready to privatize health care. Can anyone clarify?

Thanks.
