Guest toothy1985
hi, I am in my third year of undergrad rite now and I am wondering if it is even a wise idea for me to apply to med school, I mean i m just sick of the shortage of physicians here! but my marks arent that great, WGPA of about 3.22 and without summer school, it is like 3.82. So I do not know what to do? Is there any advice for me. Is it possible that I kill my third and forth year of uni and then apply when i get good references andlots of volunteer experience. Any suggestions?

Guest ploughboy
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hey, A GPA of 3.82 is not shabby at all. Assuming that you meet all the pre-reqs, have a decent MCAT and (as s sadry pointed out) have an account with OMSAS, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't apply. Even if you don't get in, I suspect that going through the process of applying, thinking about application essays etc will help to focus you on why you want to be a physician. This can only be a good thing for future application cycles (if necessary).
