Guest ren 19
Is it ok to have a priest as a referee? He knows me for many years and I think he'd write a very strong letter... Just thought I'd make sure!
Guest scrubbed
I don't think that it would be a problem. If it is, at least based on the person's title, then you be facing discrimination wrongfully. Make sure that he can speak of specific personal characteristics and experiences, and you should have a good reference. Good luck.
Guest Banane17
Hey ren 19, I had a pastor for a reference because I felt it was someone who knew me really well and could speak highly of my volunteer experiences and leadership abilities. It ended up working fine for me since I got in. I think it is much better to have someone who knows you well and could speak of you strongly than to have a prof or a doc who only knows you somewhat.
