Guest 007
A surgeon is unlikely to deal with the type of chem you learn in high school and first year university on a regular basis. You do need some understanding of it, and biochemistry will play a role in their careers. However, there are plenty of people who aren't interested in bio or chem that are doctors. I wouldn't let a dislike of these subjects dissuade you from becoming a doctor.
