Guest magicbullet57
hey, most med school websites indicate that the MCAT must be written prior to the application deadline (in August at latest) . However, some applicants will be applying "blindly" if they wrote it for the first time. is there any reason to write it again in April just as a back-up (long after deadline)? has anyone been through this before? thanks. Guest TKP 123
if you re-write again in April, this will be for next year if your current application is not successful. You should know whether u have interview by early next year. If not, then feel free to re-write MCAT. Even if you have interview, if you feel that your MCAT is not strong enough, it may still be a good idea to re-write it. The MCAT will take place after your interview anyway. Guest aneliz
Writing the MCAT again in April will only be useful if you are going to be applying to med school again... it will not be considered in this application cycle and you cannot submit 'updated' scores to the schools mid-application if that is what you are wondering.
