Guest patheticgpayetdetermined
After completion of your degree, would you suggest that students studying in Ontario pursue a Master's degree or Apply to schools in US? What benefits would you get in obtaining a master's degree?

Guest Kirsteen
Hi there, On this end, I've mentioned to a few people that obtaining a MSc in Epidemiology was one of the best things I could have done prior to entering medical school. One of the primary reasons for this is that I can autonomously design and run multiple projects in different fields of medicine while in medical school (and do). However, if you don't enjoy the research process and all that goes with it, e.g., grant seeking, debugging, analysis, paper-writing, and networking then don't do it just for the sake of amerliorating your medical school application. It could be one heck of a slog of two or more years that could be spent doing something that might be much more enjoyable for you. Cheers, Kirsteen
