Problems and possible solutions to BC's health care system?

I'm not trying to usurp Ian, just I posted it in the wrong forum

 

I was just thinking about this, and I'm wondering if any of you have any thoughts?

 

How do we decrease those waitlists? Is increasing pay for nurses and doctors the solution? Will that alleviate how disgruntled they are with being overworked?

 

Is simply increasing the budget for healthcare in BC enough?

 

I find that a lot of unions in BC are very militant and sensitive to any types of cuts. They resort to job action and and in the end, it's the general public who suffers.

 

I'm starting to worry about this interview a bit. The fact that the interviewers come represent various geographic areas of BC must contribute to the overall structure, type of questioning, and organization of the interview.
