I am going to join the undergrad in U of T this fall.

Initially i didn't want to take physics during first year. But some earlier posts told me that i could apply to more med schools once i take first year physics. Just one question:

if i take the physics during summer, i could still apply to all med schools ???

I know some schools don't inculde summer courses in GPA. But that won't affect my applying to all schools. Would it ???

And i heard phyiscs in the MCAT test is of the high school level. Is that right???>:

I took the bio requirement during summers school, and still got into med school. I don't think it matters when you do the prereq, only that you have done it.

Yes you can do physics in the summer and it will still count towards fulfilling the requirement. It wont affect your application. All that matters is that you've completed the course.

Yes, MCAT physics is at the high school level. University physics is generally calculus based and there is no calculus on the MCAT. Since you're not allowed to use a calculator for the MCAT, the math involved is not difficult.
