Guest hickfromsticks
Hey all, Does anyone know how much orgo is on the MCAT? I seem to recall hearing from Dr. Ferdinand (the guy who tours universities and gives wicked info sessions) that there are only between 2-4 orgo questions on the new mcat... but the aamc practice tests seem to have quite a few more. Does anyone know for sure, because the study books that I have seem to cover orgo a heck of a lot! Thanks, hickfromsticks
Guest WoollySheep
When I wrote the MCAT there was very little organic chem, maybe around 5-6 questions? But of course, it changes every year!!
Guest tomparv
Generally, the MCAT has 4 Orgo passages in the Biological Sciences section, in addition to maybe 4 free-standing questions - so it comprises about a third (25 q's or so) of that section. So... more than just a few questions. Tom
