Guest MedSchoolHopeful
So, does the old myth hold true? Will an acceptance letter be thicker than a rejection letter?
Guest 007
Well, when I got accepted last year, there were 2 pages in the envelope, which my housemates seemed to know before I opened it based on the weight. My guess is that a rejection letter only has one sheet since the second of the two pages was the form to send to student accounts with your money. Personally, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between one page or two before opening it.
Guest cedar05
Mine did indeed have 2 pages but it looked thin and felt as if there were only one! Good Luck.
Guest doubledoc
Indeed, while it is a little white envelope you can tell the difference between one page (the rejection letter I recieved my first time applying to Dal) and the two pages (the acceptance I received this year, which included the acceptance letter and the acceptance of offer form to be returned to Dal). When I saw the envelope, I initially thought I was rejected, but as soon as I picked it up, I knew it was more than one page.
